Homestead museum

Before the 1960's, a sawmill, residential buildings and outbuildings were located in the Nautelankoski area. As the operation of the mill slowly died, the wooden buildings were pulled down one by one. The municipality of Lieto started the renovation of the area and the mill at the end of the 1980's.

In 1992, the old building of Lieto homestead museum, Jonkari Cottage, was moved to the location here there used to be a miller's cottage. Originally, Jonkari Cottage was part of the closed yard in Hakula hamlet. The building is decorated to correspond to a miller's cottage from the beginning of the 20th century.
