At the beginning of year 2000, a new museum building was completed in the
Nautelankoski area. The construction was funded with a donation made by Lauri Nautela in
1990.
The museum exhibitions will be opened to the public in autumn 2000. Among other things, they will present life in the Stone Age, local inhabitation and the nature of the Aura River.
